Biography
Mr. Shawn S. Leigh is a partner attorney of Cho & Leigh PC. Mr. Leigh’s practice focuses on immigration and nationality law in possession of diverse law experiences. Most recently, Mr. Leigh was an immigration attorney at Kim, Cho & Lim, LLC in New Jersey. Before moving to New Jersey, he was a Managing Partner of Leigh Law Group, PLLC in Dallas, Texas for 12 years. Also, he was the President of American Learning Institute in Dallas, Texas, a SEVP certified language school. Previously for approximately 10 years, Mr. Leigh was associate foreign legal counsel to large Korean law firms and in-house general counsel to major Korean banks (Shinhan Bank and Kookmin Bank) in Seoul, Korea.
Practicing law in Korea, Texas and New Jersey, Mr. Leigh represented both U.S. and foreign companies and individuals on various business and immigration matters, developing a comprehensive understanding of the clients' diversified needs. With over 23 years of law practice, Mr. Leigh brings experience, passion, and expertise to your often complicated immigration process.
Immigrated to the United States at an early age and raised in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Leigh graduated with a BA in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Subsequently, he studied abroad (Seoul, Korea) to attain a MA in Political Science from Yonsei University. He received a degree of Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University School of Law), Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Leigh is a member of New Jersey, New York and Texas bars. He is also admitted to U.S. District Court of New Jersey, New York and Texas and U.S. Bankruptcy Court Northern District of Texas.
